At Solution Focused Foundation, we are a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to providing transitional housing for adults in Southeast Michigan. Our mission is to restore hope and transform lives by offering safe, supportive environments where individuals can rebuild their futures.
We serve those experiencing transitional homelessness—a temporary state often caused by life-altering events such as job loss, aging out of foster care, health crises, divorce, domestic abuse, substance use disorders, or other personal or family challenges. While many of the people we support are employed, they still face financial barriers that make stable housing unattainable.
Our approach is rooted in compassion and innovation. By offering transitional housing for 6 months to 2 years, we provide a critical safety net that empowers residents to regain stability, pursue long-term goals, and transition to independent living.
As a nonprofit pending 501(c)(3) status, we are driven by community support, collaboration, and the belief that everyone deserves a second chance. Together, with our partners, donors, and volunteers, we’re turning obstacles into opportunities—one home at a time.
